Compass Energy Announces Hire of Two New Employees

Richmond, VA – Compass Energy Services, Inc., an energy sales and services company, recently announced the hire of two new employees. David W. Monger, Senior Energy Consultant, will be responsible for managing the energy procurement and delivery of natural gas for new and existing clients. Rick Gechter, Director of Gas Marketing, will be responsible for natural gas sales to industrial and wholesale customers throughout the mid-Atlantic US.

“David Monger is a great addition to our energy procurement outsourcing team,” noted Christopher J. Ziegler, president of Compass Energy. “He brings a great mix of education, energy experience, and new ideas to our company for the benefit of our energy management customers.” David Monger joins the Richmond office of Compass Energy from Dominion’s Natural Gas Trading Operation.

“We are pleased to have Rick Gechter as an integral part of Compass Energy,” said Barry M. Koski, vice president of Compass Energy. “Rick brings a tremendous amount of industry experience, expertise, and contacts to our company and our customers.” After launching Cypress Natural Gas, Mr. Gechter joins Compass Energy’s Virginia Beach office.
