Compass Energy Named Finalist for 2005 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award

Richmond, VA - Compass Energy Services, Inc., an energy sales and services company, was recently honored as a finalist in the 2005 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Program for the Virginia Region. Compass Energy's six founders were among the 30 finalists to be reviewed by a panel of independent judges comprised of area business, academic, and civic leaders.

The Ernst & Young-sponsored award recognizes outstanding entrepreneurs who are leading and building dynamic and growing businesses. Started in 2002, Compass Energy Services, Inc. has already proven their success in the market place by ranking #3 in Entrepreneur magazine's Hot 100 list of fastest-growing companies in America.
